Just got my Mecatech hydros from Daves motors.
Looks awesome but doesn't come with any installation instructions.

I understand how to mount the brake calipers but I would like some instructions on how to install the brake fluid and to bleed the brakes.

Please help if any1 knows..

thanks
Mike

install every thing on the car so it nice and neat i bleed mine backwards from the caliper to the master cylinder crack open the nipple on the master and i fit 8 inches of silicone fuel line for the fluid to run down sit the open end on some rags or a small pot spray can top..useing a syringe with a length of tubing on crack open a nipple on a caliper fill the syringe with fluid and hold it so any air will float to the top and you can expell it from the tube...fit this on the caliper nipple and push if its real hard open the nipples another half turn..when you get fluid from the master nipple close it finger tight and do the same with the caliper nipple then repeat with the other side open the master and push till you get no more air through ........pinch the nipples closed and refit the dust caps

After the process is done, How tight should I tighten the valves?? Should it be really tight or just a smudge??

Also, do u have any photo's to show how the process is done??

tighten them a smidge the last thing you want is to strip the thread out

I may get time today to run through it so pics SOON

Car KIller just posted a great lil tutorial vid in the general forum area with vid on how he bleed his MechTech brakes.
very simple and easy to do via his method.
