Time to go Alloy me thinks :-)
I did say that when this one went id go alloy

Had a good 2 hours this morning over the BMX track, lots of jumps and crazy'ness, tried to take some vids but they were really poor one handed.
Slaw, you were right, the kill switch and fail safe don't like each other !!

Any one else encountered this issue with the fail safe and a kill switch ?

Street..

My radios have the built in failsafes and there is no problem with those. I have not heard much good about external failsafes due to glitching they sometimes create.

The alloy carrier is a must unless you eliminate that as well and run all alloy gears.:)

What gear you melting? ......Yes TX have built in fail safes....but I don't think they were
made to use for gasoline 2 stroke engines.....Your engine is still running........
the Tx with built in fail safe is more for Nitro stuff.............................
use a modified electronic kill switch to kill the engine.....My opinion.......
as to the meltinga gear ..there is a reason for it to be getting hot to melt the plastic gear.........Slawhammer

I meant the gear carrier plate, Alloy on eis on order now. I doubled checked my set up, the Receiver does have a built in fail safe, i was using an external in line fail safe (took it off my Tmaxx).

Took off the external fail safe and set up the built in one on the receiver. - Problem solved, no more glitching.

The kill switch kills the engine when you turn the radio off as well as using the 3rd channel.

Everything works as it should now :-) just need the alloy gear carrier and im back out there :-)

Cheers for the input guys
