Yup that's right, I just got off the phone with the guys at Hitec in CA. by the end of summer, they will be releasing the 805Mg. From what I was told, they had enough demand, (or complaints) for the changeover.

He told me, he just found out about it last Friday. I asked him if I could leak it out to the forums and he said I could. So, it's official.

Good news for us cheap guys, I guess.

Will there be a MG conversion for the existing 805? I suppose it is a good thing, I have 2 805's I am scared to use, they strip real easy.
 
you say cheap now, but id expect to see the 805MG price go about Double what it doesn now with plastic gears. so now all those good savings are shot out the arse.
