guys, received rings from rick today. they are really nice. he made some aluminum and stainless. well worth a buck a pop. they fit the non hpi wheels perfect. if you need them, contact rick. quick turn around.

i have a waterjet at work, so I want to cut my own. Should they be a "press fit" on the wheel?

id say so...

mine were pretty damn snugg on some.. i tapped them on with a hammer and a piece of wood... some were able to just put on by hand... the tolerance in either the pipe or the wheel hub is not perfect.. well at least on mine... lol but they all sat on pretty tight... and i will also add, are all still going... enjoy

the emt conduit works just fine, after deburring they fit snugg,apply some super glue before mounting and run a ring around the outside
