i made it from 10mm solid en32 steel bar....tig welded then polished

before having it nickle plated....as i don't like things to shiney:clown:
 
That is an amazing roll cage - great job!!
I suppose the 27.2 compensates for the 'extra weight'.
I'm always accused - rightly - of having too much metal on my LST2 nitro Raminator, so no worries - thick skin and all that!!

Alan you need to go look at my Leopard if you think thats a load of metal LOL
 
Wow, that is a masterpiece, I've done a bit of fab work in my time and I reckon it would of taken me at least 10 prototypes before getting work like that.
Does the weight affect the handling?

the cage weighs in at:2guns: 5lbs thats why i needed the balloon springs on the back

voo dosnt think i run it:clown: but the extra weight is not a problem on

handling :)the spoiler you can see is of stainless steel and is 2in oversize

glad you like it :blush:....it took me around 3 weeks to make at a cost to

my works of £600 for my time alone:clown: there is a front bit that goes

over the body

the cage stands 40mm higher than a standard cage as you can see it through

the roof of the body ...it has the ring to protect the samba ...and an

upturn to the front for (IF) it rolls the body hasnt a mark on it
