I have problem with the plastic spur gear i need metal spur gear anyone has idea ?
I wish I could find metal gears but I gave up. Thats why I sell the plastic one. It will hold up to a lightly modified setup but the hot motors will melt it.

Does anyone know where to get steel gears????? The pinion gears are easy to find in steel but the 1.5 MOD 48 tooth spur gear is just not made, cheap.

I've found them but they are not the right size hole and they are too thick and not hardened and don't last for poop. NEED HELP!!!!

Just want to give you an update Ol'fart, the gear you made me is not doing to bad I have about twelve runs on 8s and it is doing ok. My real problem is I keep bending the front driveshaft, I bought extra front shafts because i bend one after every bash session, looking forward to your new chasssis. I am getting very tired of this redcat stuff, if wasn't for your stuff I would have seen how far I could jump this xb-e into the nearby lake......

Say- ol fart? Those gears you see on e-bay are for a nu-tech. they can be bought from the american importer in WI.- there are 2 types of these - olfart- take a look at this tool- its to remove-install the crankcase bearings-seals on the engines we run.- you think there would be enough demand in america for you to build these?- I shure would by one from ya if you built it. You go to replace the crank bearings on HY cases you will see why- they are machined much tighter than CY cases. never did like tapping bearings -seals in-- its not good practice.

I'm not a gas guy so work with me here. Does that tool push the bearings from the inside out?
