Minor issues with new Jetpro pipe ver.1 for MT5

Hey Guy,
Hope every body is A okay, I brought the Jetpro pipe ver. 1 for the MT5, love the pipe, i notice a hell of an improvement I'm happy with it but one problem, part of the pipe melted part of the roll cage. Is there any thing I could put between the pipe and the rollcage from preventing any more melt down. Is there any aftermarket or aluminum roll cage out there for the MT5.

Any help will always be appreciated.

Where on the rollcage did it melt it?

im guessing its near where it exits the engine.. the piece of roll cage that goes across & has a hump in it?

if so don't worry, some people remove that part altogether when fitting a tuned pipe, ive just fitted a DOM & have same prob but its melted it enuff now so the exhasut no longer hits it, so gunna smoothen it off so the pipe passes through & maybe put some fuel tubing there just incase

I've a high end DDM Dominator. Mine's melted there as well slightly.
I've a spare in case I need to replace.
I would be nice to keep the cross brace, and avoid the exhaust - like an after-market Trebor set-up.

You can cut a piece of high temp silicone tubing so you can wrap it around the cage at that point. It will help eliminate the chance of it melting further.

i cut the peice of cage off entirley where it comes out of the head. never had a prob with it melting any other part of the cage

Any aftermarket roll cage for the MT5?

There are some aluminum pieces you can buy but really not worth it IMO.
