MCD IMO, the FG 4x4 is REAL new at this time only time will tell if it is any good. I am sure it is good but I like my MCD's.

You'd have a lot of fun with either of them. My personal preference is 4WD but I enjoyed the hell out of my FG MT. Both can take a serious thrashing. Just keep in mind a 25-30 pound vehicle getting pounded on will break things quite a bit.
IMHO, you can't go wrong either way however. Pick what suits your budget and go for it.

Ah krap I thought you were asking about the new FG 4x4.

I have a FG MB Pro and love it is takes a real beating, the 2 you are asking about are very very different macines.

But like JQuest said either would not dissapoint you.

I love the FGs but using s belt to transfer the power to the front wheel is what I am not too sure about. And it is not that easy to change it if required.
At least if the belt brakes you still have rear wheel drive. And 2 speed is possible.

Will I thing Time Will Tell How Good it is.

I perfer the 2WD FG as the more fun to drive, I think the 4WD MCD would take some of the fun away.

FG have always been 2WD. Only recently thy have intruded 4WD.
