hi every1 just got some monster slicks and wondering does any1 know the best glue to use? this time im after a slow curing glue not the 'you have 0.3sec to mess it up and stick ur thumb to the side of the tyre lol' thanks brian...

Did you get those on ebay the other week?

I have only used the contact glue like the one you say glues your finger to the tire.:clown: And yes, I did glue my finger.:lol:
 
no got them separate, wheels from germany then tried to get the tyres from sb racing but he had a break in, so i ended getting the tyres from germany too
 
Hey Hod , i like them tyres, let me know how they perform mate? Thinking of gettting some so i can go down to Brooklands with an onroad mate, would you still have to change gearing? or cos the tyres are same diameter, stay the same?
 
ca gel dries a lot slower. I too hate gluing tires. At least the gel gives you working time. and if needed, just use some accelerant to get it to dry after it's in place....
 
hi super, ive got 2 speed gears and when i go on road ive got a 40/24 to replace my 44/20 2nd gear so more top end and should be able to hear the gear change better with dropped revs , will let you know how grippy they are mate
 
cheers ive got some of the gel now, i was going to use the take-off-Z-blue but i think thats going to be a skin sticker
