Well came into month three just finishing the 3rd tank. Only got to run 1/2 tank this month. Month was mostly spent waiting for parts and very short runs on non rain days.

Volt meter is now giving random signals, blinks, runs, blinks, all green. Brought the truck in from a 3-4 minute run and shut it down with the kill switch. Won't restart very easy, usually harder to restart when warm than to initially cold start.

Throttle servo has failed and taken out the ch1 of the new receiver. Positive battery wire at solder point even failed, repaired solder and wrapped in duct tape.

I noticed lack of throttle response. Stopped the truck to look if the collar had come loose again. The servo was just twitching all over. All of a sudden it slams WOT without my finger even near the trigger. Fortunately it was just about 3 feet from a post, which it hit head on and sat diggin in till I could get to the switch.

Redcat is sending a new servo and receiver.

Killer RC says it is out of stock on volt meters. Send in meter and they will repair it (+shipping).

I really need the kill switch in case of another run away. Lucky that post was right in front of it.

Got the new servo and receiver from Redcat, quick response koodoos to Redcat! Got those all in and had to wait a couple more days for RC Pitstop to send out a RAMTech kill switch. Switch was packaged alone with no documentation or information of any kind about the switch not even a reference to watch their video for more info.

The connectors for the manual switch (males) didn't match the large pushon connectors of the harness. With the connectors in place the space between the manual swtch and the coil is shy 1/16" of fitting. I clipped off the connectors and soldered and heat shrunk the wires to the switch making it all now fit. I did manage to add the harness to my battery box grommet and cram it all in box and put the lid on, no room for anymore wire. I will cut the wiring down to fit better during the winter build.
The volt meter is now working with signals like new. The back of the hard plastic cover on the meter broke around the double stick on a previous run, and was displaying various random lights. I resealed the back of the meter with several coats of liquid tape.

Picked up some steel tubing from auto parts for under $10 for a 3/8 - 6 foot tube. Plan to make some tower braces to the chassis. Will post more on that as the project gets documented.
