Hello i have a KSRC-001 and recently the motor stuck a ring so im getting a rebuild kit. But i also wanted a backup motor so will this motor work it says its an ss so it worried me?

thats a basic 26cc cy engine will work fine, the "SS" is the designation from hpi they have a baja ss which this is the most common engine for that kit, not bad on the price and pipe,
