Just installed my new 813 carb, 3 pumps of the throttle & she fired up no probs.


I noticed the difference with out even tuning it.


Finally wrecked the body, Lucky i have a spare new one.

 
I see carb upgrades on most of these cars, are they offering more fuel flow only, or something else, seems like it may be necessary if you've upgraded the exhaust. I'm stock on both an xb & mt, except for a redcat tuned pipe on mt.

The 813 has an accelerator pump but no choke. It helps down low. Also when I had a good look at it , it looks like the 813 has a bigger inside diameter & a better shaped Venturi.

This all helps air flow & fuel atomization.
