MT aluminum center gear mounts

Hey guys,


Do the plastic center gear mounts need to be swapped for alu. to eleiminate any flex which could change the bevel pinion to center gear mesh? Anyone have any experience with a problem in the area of the center gear due to flex or anything else.

Stick with the plastic , the added weight of aluminum is not needed the plastic holders do there job without issues.
 
Thanks guys for the replies. Saves me some time and more important money for other needed mods. Just looked like a week point with all the twisting force on the gear but seems like you guys are happy with stock.
