MT Breaking

I took it apart today so I could see what broke.


I think it is these:

It twisted the shaft and broke inside the rear diff. The part on my truck is all black and I don't know if it has that hole in it. I haven't liberated all of it from the differential yet, because whoever built this stripped one of the screws...

It does have that hole in it, that can be a breakage point on those. More common with the V1 trucks though.
 
Yeah I cleaned some grease away and I can see that it twisted and broke at the hole.


I have a V3 truck I think - 30.5cc engine, all metal gears, and dual steering servos.
