Can some one please tell me why paint will not stick to the mt diff cover? Tried sanding, pactra paint , auto paint, i have ruined 3 so far. It either chips or peels off immediatly.What am I missing?

Just curious what kind of dye you used on the Black Nylon Plastic....I was always told that nothing will dye black.rampagemt said:I died mine blue. Works awsome

I figured out the problem...OP was asking about painting the diff cover so that's why i posted a pic of the front of my MT...now I believe he was actually asking about the Gear Plate Cover which is indeed white and dye able but the actual diff covers (bulkheads) are black. Never hear anyone call the gears on the side a diff....RCDAD said:The MT cover is white, so it is dyeable.
