if the bottom four screw chassis is the same i would think so, not sure , you prolly would have to have mostly MT outrigger parts esp. the front. the shock towers, and fuel tank mounts, and cage... you need to get ready for deep hack action. the steer would be toughest switch....perhaps just for the rear , that would be easiest!

even if the four chassis mount screws were different, it can be easily changed

Just thinking if they'd fit it with a little work ... the only other option is 7075rc and they're out of stock .

I wonder if the diff gears and bearings are the same? Then like you said hinge pins and shock mounts are probably different.

Also curious is the XR road car or HSP models making a aluminum diff?

the planetary gear case is same across all. so the cross diff case carrier and pinion would be in same space orientation. totally doable, BUT chassis to driveline may be higher on MT...not that big a deal ..til its too close to the tank, those kinda things.

get an plastic MT box and put it on. BEFORE u get the alloy one , really the only way to go about it with confidence

while u wait for 7075rc!
