im broke and my mt exhaust rubber connecter tore in half. the replacement hose i tried started melting and smoking. does anyone have a cheap idea how to connect the long aluminum piece to the black exhaust on the motor? it will be a few months before i can afford a nice aftermarket exhaust. and help would be appreciated on connecting the two pieces on a budget.

It will go better without it on. I gutted my original can with a screw driver and some long nose pliers takes a Bit of time but if you pull the mesh and material out it will improve it as well. That would be my cheap fix.

do you think i should mod the body so the heat wont warp the body? or is it not an issue when just running it straight out the can?

It shouldn't be an issue. If you're worried about it, Autozone has some aluminum tape that you could use to shield the inside of the body. It's about 5 bucks.

+1 on the aluminium tape it works great I use aluminium tape on all of my bodies. You can also use the h vac tape from home depot or lowes they they use on air condition ducts they work good also from keeping the heat off of the body.

great idea, yea ill have to pick some of that up. hopefully ill get to drive it this weekend without another problem
