After a 5 month break, I finally got my MT up and running with new hop-ups that I've been purchasing over the winter and a new rear Dom from Sprint77, I had to make room for my new MCD EVOIII MT coming from Clubin. :) So after fixing up everything I decided to take her out. Everything went fine accept for the fact that it keeps moving after i take my finger off the brake.

I've checked the throttle arm and it's fine yet it continues to do this.. The throttle doesn't stick either. Any thoughts?

Probaly the same thing that happened to me, one clutch shoe delaminated and a piece is jammed at the end of the clutchbell? Happened to me.

Maybe weak spring?

Maybe one of the clutch bolts came loose and is rubbing on the end of the clutch bell. Mine weren't loctited and the washer's weren't in the rite place.

Congrats on the purchase.

if its reving too high and just creeping along you can adjust the low speed needle. or as clubin sayed the clutch pad could be "misplaced".. let us know the outcome on it..

Messed with the idle needed as well as H&L needles still nothing, wheels just keep spinning. So I'm going to take the gear mount off and see what the issue is. Had a nasty crash back in Nov in which the car lost the signal somehow and went full speed heard first into a curb, went straight up in the air and was still going until it got caught in some construction net. The only damage from that was 2 broken shocks, broken front body post, and bent front drive shaft bone.

Bingo! Snapped and pads were worn all the way off. Which brings me to my next question... So back in Oct I picked up one these http://www.davesmotors.com/s.nl/c.885035/n.1/it.A/id.1611/.f and when I tried to install it I ended up being a noob and stripped the darn screw that holds the clutch plate to the crack which in turn has limited me to only getting these http://www.davesmotors.com/s.nl/c.885035/n.1/it.A/id.60/.f . My question is, is there a way to get that screw off of their so I can install that Elcon?

2 Ways you can get it out,

1. carefully cut a slot in the head of the screw with a dremel large enough to get a common in there

2. Hammer a torx into the space where the allen wrench would go

Other than that, it looks like it you drilled the head of the bolt off there might be enough left to grab with a set of vise grips to get the stud out of the crank. I am not familiar with the elcon clutch, I have never installed ar ran one.
