Hi there guys, wondering if anyone have any experience with GPM shocks? Looking to upgrade the original shocks on my MT since the originals... well suck balls.
I found a set of four GPM shocks at a German reseller. They seem to be a bit to cheap, and probably are crap aswell. But might aswell ask if anyone has used their shocks.

Link to the shocks.

I've looked on some other shocks aswell but it just costs to much, will be kinda hard to justify to my partner :P
And well i don't really feel like spending 100k $ on shocks.
Also if someone here has some tips on getting the setup a bit better on the MT would be nice. Feels so "bouncy" as it is now. And the steering a bit "jiddery"... don't know what to call it really. Sigh, should have bought a marder instead :P

The internals look the same as the fg shocks.Ive used some gpm proucts on my baja and seem ok for the price. At the end of the day you get what u pay for.

I really liked the gpm kross shocks. I put a set on the fg vw. bought them off ebay. I didn't even know they were gpm until after I bought them. I sold the vw but they still perform well and have never leaked (vw lives about 100 feet from where I sit right now)

take a look at the balloon springs from king cobra. rossendale models sells them. they are a progreesive rate spring and make a big difference. stock springs are too mushy to me

Sounds great, though im gonna order home these shocks. Pretty cheap also so not expecting wonders but lets hope they are better than the original shocks at least.

And some progressive springs to go with that.

Also noticed a weird noise when i was out driving last time, disassembled the rear to check it out. Turns out my drive shaft was causing the noise. They look like two bananas... think they have been twisted to :P
So gonna order home some new shafts also :)

Now i just have to decide what thickness i should choose on the shock oil. Kinda hard since i don't know how big the holes are in those shocks. I used 3000 FG oil with my original shocks but found that to be way to hard. Saw in some other threads that people recommended thickness up to 7000... isnt that like driving a brick? Want some marder leopard handling or as near it as you can come. Any tips or will it just be trial and error ?
