To all that care LOL I called Redcat today and asked what the part# was for the top shock ball and mount on a MT, It took a while but we figured out it is the same as the XB part# 07153, The guy was great, alot of help, He said he will have them change it so this part# shows for the MT. You are all welcome

Hope it works for ya. I am pretty sure the MT shock mounts are bigger. I had to drill out my shock towers for the bigger bolts when I fitted my XB with the MT piggy back shocks.

Here is the difference.

The Xseries and MT shocks have the same size ball and extension but the thread size is different. The MT shocks use a M4. The Xseries shocks use a M3. If you install the MT shocks on a Xseries car you have to drill out the shock tower unless you swap the ball mounts. So if the ball mount you get sent is the Xseries size you could just drill it out. Here are a couple of pics.

Thanks again guys. well RCDAD I was wondering when someone was gonna ask that SO the first rear mount for my CPI was thin aluminum and it broke so I made a new one out of stainless and it mounts to the left upper shock bolt, Then I flipped it big time HA broke shock bolt and totally screwed up that piece, just don't tell anybody LOL Hey having fun :)

Ahhhh, I see. One of those unproud moments. LOL

Hey as long as you had fun its OK. The more you break the more fun you had!
