Mt stock pipe

My mt has the stock pipe on it. The one with the black box and long skinny bent pipe. The screws keep coming out. I used blue Loctie and let it sit for a day. How can I keep it from doing that. Also its leaking oil when its loose. Is that normal?

Use red locktite and yes its normal for it to leak oil if its loose.

Take it off and clean the threads. When you take it off, cover up the exhaust port and spray the threads with some carb cleaner and then blow everything out with compressed air. Do the same to the screws. Oil can get into the threads if the can loosens up. If that happens, loctite won't do you any good.

what else can you use for the silicone piece for pipe? anything that is stronger would help.

High temp silicone hose. You can get it at any auto parts store. The skinny tube is there to route the exhaust out to the back of the truck. It's restrictive, so you'd be better off removing it. The can will make a bit of a mess without it, but it's not that bad.

i plan on replacing it with something better just don't have the money for it yet and need something as a replacement for the stock one for now
