I'm thinking about wanting to change my MT to a TT since I'm running with Hostile AT's already and my Truck body is about ready to split completely apart.


Aside from needing the TT Body, would this be all I need:


Buggy Front Bumper


Buggy Tail Wing Mount


Buggy - Tail Wing Stay (L/R) and Joint Post


Anything else needed? Would an HPI Baja wing work with the TT or would other holes have to be drilled?


How durable is the TT Body?

I like the route you took on all of it. It'll save me 40 bucks and I'll just cut down my extra bumpers and use a 5b wing. Great work!


I'll be ordering a clear TT body here shortly.
 
Got the clear body ordered from DDM, 37 bucks and the only place that had one I could find in stock. Cool! Hopefully this body won't crack to hell and will do much better than the truck body.
 
Got the body from DDM. It's the v1/2 TT body. Are these prone to cracking like the MT body? The v3 has the convertible top, looks easy enough to cut out my body to copy how the v3 TT looks. I looked for threads/posts on here to see if many people have cracked their v1/v2 TT bodies. Haven't found any. I like the fully enclosed look, keeps stuff out of the chassis, but I like what evildomain did with his (screened around the open area in the roll cage).
 
I was ging to get one about a month ago but the picture for stock number rc51901 shows the open top body and I wanted the closed top body. Is that the stock number of the closed top body you got?

That's the one. Funny, I was hoping it was the open top due to the picture, but it was the closed top when I received it. I'm kinda glad it's the closed top now with as much grass as I end up getting in the HPI Baja.
