So I couldn't decide if I should stick to a MT or buy a buggy, well after some consideration I ended up with a blemb.

Still some paint work to do. Can't decide on the color to paint the wing.

looks good, i like the look of the buggie wheels and i think the balooning or the tyres would be fixed with the buggie tyres ?

yup with the Fg Baja wheels balooning is a thing of the past . i ran my beetle in stadium format for a while [ the mt/st body shells arnt strong enough] but the beetle shells are plenty strong .
with st wheels AND JETPRO ST PIPE.

i think the fg buggie wheels would be to small for the fg mt and it would look like when i put hopi baja wheels on it a bit strange

Just a heads up. I used to own FG Buggy wheels, they are great and will give you plenty of top speed you're craving for.............BUT with powerful engine the rubber will get unglued so be mindful of that. Also beware these tires will buckle once you do heavy jumping. Food for thought.

Btw.................nice rig!!!!!

Thanks for the feedback. The MT wheels were just too big for bashing around with a bunch of buggies. Too clumsy. This setup is a bit more controllable. Like I said, she needs a set of 4 alloy shocks to make everything better. Maybe next week. Then I'm set. Have to find a buyer for my JetPro Ver 2 silenced pipe. Doesn't fit anymore. Then I can get one that will fit with the body lowered.

Jesrx, did you have any issues with the buggy wheels hitting the body? After dropping the body, I had to do a lot of cutting. I also spaced the wheels out a bit for clearance. I even kept the body more forward with the orignial front mounting holes and mounted the wing more forward on the bed. Worked out good, just can't figure out how you were able to get yours setup without rubbing.

You gonna love those wheels specially at top speed.....

Post some vids once you are done with the beast.
