Rampage MT Vets:

My MT V3 is here and I'm almost overwhelmed. Definitely excited. I have some quick questions and requests if any of you veterans have time. I have been all over the forums and have pieced together some of the info. I apologize if I may have missed some posts on these subjects. Please post links if you have them and thanks in advance.

1. I know the stock foam air filter requires air filter oil. Does the HPI air filter require oil and does anyone have the part number for the HPI filter?

2. When the steering servos go out I want to replace them with the Hitec 5765. Will it require two of those or just one to steer it? What is needed to calibrate them and set the end points?

3. RCDAD had said that the Hitec 5745's worked better at 7.4 volts so does that mean I need a new receiver to run those and what type do you recommend?

4. Do I need to vent the gas tank and what is the best way to do that? Recommend a kit?

5. What aftermarket exhaust pipe or muffler do you recommend I've seen stuff for the HPI and dominator pipe?

6. I have the 3/4 inch L copper pipe to put over the diff joints where the dog bones go in. I just don't know what to use to keep them on. Someone had mentioned Goop?

7. Should CV boots be installed at each wheel with grease and what part numbers do you recommend.

Gosh I think that is enough for now. Thanks again for the help. If you have links or pics for this stuff that would help. I have included some pics of my new toy.

Yes you want to vent the gas tank from what everyone has recommended to me. As for the pipe I think this one just makes the truck look mean http://www.jetpro.com/index.php/redcat-monster-truck if RCDad recommended something I would highly suggest it as he has helped me out a lot and has a lot of knowledge as to a lot of others on this forum. Sorry I can't be more help, I'm still a noob myself

1 - Yes. http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.885035/n.1/it.A/id.55/.f

2 - You can run 1 or 2 steering servos. On the stock radio the EPA is set with the D/R knob.

3 - The receiver can handle 7.4v

4 - The tank vent can be done with just a piece of fuel line by adding another hole in the grommet. You can use brass fittings for a cleaner look.

5 - Pipes that fit the MT. http://www.davesmotors.com/s.nl/c.885035/n.1/it.A/id.5733/.f
