Mt v4 throttle servo

Can anyone tell me if the mt v4 throttle servo is doing good ? I know on the v3 everyone was saying to by a hi tech. And im going to buy a v4 and wasnt for sure if I should change it from the start. Thanks

If you invest in a kill switch you can run it till it breaks. The stockers work for a while and for some a long time. I am not aware of any upgrades to them. If there was I'm sure someone will speak up. I have the v3. Mine twitched from day one and continued to after I upgraded transmitter and receiver. I even got mine soaked let it dry and it still worked. I just got anoid with the twitching it started to effect the idle.

Yes its a hit or miss on the servos as all rtr but my stock servo is still running strong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I replaced my steering and switched out my throttle with something I knew would not have problems. The stock throttle servo still worked. But, I wanted to be safe than sorry. I have also read on this site, that sometimes they just die without warning. I'd rather not have that happen while I was going full speed somewhere.

Get a Hitec and be done with it.

Yea I had a v3 and changed it from the start but I sold it and now im going to buy a v4 and didnt know if I should buy a hi tech for it also but I will. Thanks for the info

i would go ahead and put in a new hitec servo just to be safe
