Hey All-

Took my mt out last weekend and thought I had ran through my clutch pads, which was odd because I had only taken it out like 3-4x in the dirt. So any how Rob and other members suggested that I get the elcon clutch (which I did) and install that since they last much longer. Well after installing the new clutch I still get nothing, just engine rev. All of the greas function properly and have been upgraded to steel and MCD grade along with the aluminum gear mount. Could it be the clutch bell that is bad? Any help would be great, thanks!

Found it! Damn center diff was fouled up with gunk and small stones. Wasnt spinning but rest of gears were... Odd. But all is fixed, tigthend and back on the road. Thanks for the reply!

If the clutch is setup wrong or the bell is fried, the truck should still try to move. If this is the case double check the ajustment screws on each of the clutch pads. They should be set one and one quarter turns in once the point of the setscrew makes contact with the little round spring plate.

If the gears are spinning when you let it rev, then the clutch setup is probable not the problem.

Make sure all the square gearmount thingys are tightened down to the shafts.

Check all the dogbones and make sure none are broken or lost a pin. If all that checks out OK, then check the diffs for any boken pins or stripped gears.

Also make sure that the shaft with the beveled gear coming from the gearplate is lined up properly to the main center gear.

Man I must type slow. You found and fixxed the problem while I was thinking of things to look for.

Hehehe- Thanks anyway, I was pretty frustrated! And your last check was actually what needed to be checked/fixed..."Also make sure that the shaft with the beveled gear coming from the gearplate is lined up properly to the main center gear."
