So The other day I was running my truck, and it was doing great.. I shut it off, and tried to restart it about 30 min later, and would not start for nothing.. I let it sit for a day, and it started right up.. Same thing ran great, but then would not restart.. Today it would only start if I held the throttle wide open, but would not idle.. Now it will not start for nothing.. Ive tried setting the carb back to stock settings, and a new spark plug.. its getting plenty of fuel, and spark.. its actually spitting fuel out the intake... Is it possible my carb is junk? Thanks in advance for the help...

Sounds like your low speed needle is too rich.

Try these needle settings and see how it goes. If it still doesn't idle, turn the low speed needle in an 8th of a turn and try again.

H - 1 1/2 turns out.

L - 1 1/4 turns out.

Does your primer bulb hold fuel overnight? If not you have an air leak and your carb will flood. Make sure its not leaking if so you need a new gasket. Mine did the same thing your talking about and this is what I came up with. Oh and I gently ran sandpaper through the gap on the plug.

thanks guys, I think it is a mixture of an air leak, and running too rich... I just ordered a 990 carb.. cant wait to try it out...

My order has been manufactured and shipped. Just a couple weeks now. These still are the 1:1 ratio. I am working on the other ratios but they have not made it to production. I made a large order so I should be able to maintain inventory levels and not run out between orders. I now can get the price down a bit as well. I apologize to all for the wait and thank you for your paitence. :)

When you say 1:1 is that stock gearing on these trucks or in my case the xb.

It is the closest option. The XB runs 29-31 on the A & B gears. The belt drive would be the equivalent to 30-30 gears. So just a tiny bit higher. It is a great set up for the XB.

my km did the same thing it's that carb they work when they want to get a walbro :)

so I put my walbro carb on, and I cant get this thing to fire.. I had it fire once for about 10 sec. when I put gas in the carb... there is fuel in the fuel bubble... Any suggestions... I set the low speed to 1 1/4 turns out, and the high to 1 1/2 turns out... Ive tried adjusting in small amounts both ways on both screws and still no luck...
