I went to the part store and picked up some heat shrink tubing. I used 0-2 size battery cable size. You might find diff. colors.

They may be custom. I know for the baja's there are DS TOOBZ, not sure if they would fit. They aren't for dust, they are to keep the diff cup from splitting open due to the shock of landing under power.

Has anyone been splitting their diff cups on the ramps? I know these are havy trucks, why I never land on power after getting air.

They v3 has stronger cups and i land on power all the timetruck is front heavy so wheel spin keeps front up . But ive not broke one in the 6 monthes ive had mine

Ahhhh got yea. I used to race 1/10 electric and control your attitude with spin or not These 1/5 scales the flywheel rotates opposite the wheel spin, so i've found that keeping power on does nothing for me, it's pretty much all about launch and pray.

these cat5 rings served two purposes, one was for retaining the dogbone pins, which is not an issue now, and two was to oversize the cups so you could use hpi axle boots. and I have mentioned to cat5 that more redcat guys are asking for them so I may have to remind him and see if he will make more
