MT5 Shocks / Suspension QUESTION

guys,
i ran my FG MT5 2 times and the shocks seem to be leaking. I even replaced the seals on one of them and still i feel that a little too much shock oil is left on the shaft after multiple compressions. i have bad horsie shock covers on which seem to do a good job at keeping dirt out. I didnt even run on dirt, only asphalt.


what shocks are you guys running?

I was looking at ddm and found these:

are they good? any1 use them b4?

These are Elcon shocks and i have an Elcon Cleon, all i can say is, these shocks are the best i have ever seen mate, go for it....

what is the difference between "Elcon" and "elcon cleon"?

Can u please take a picture of your shock setup so I can see?

Also, are these the same size as my MT5 competition 4WD shocks or these are the smaller size which comes with the 2WD trucks?

as super says they don't come any better than the elcon

i have a set on my MCD baja 1000 with no leaks at all

Super,
will these elcon shocks be an exact fit for the FG shocks which come with the competition MT5 or any of the FG 4 wheel drive monster trucks.

As you may be aware, the 4 wheel drive shocks on the MT5 are a little bigger then the shocks which come with a 2 wheel drive monster truck.

Please let me know
