I was running my mt5 in our local pit . After a few jumps the truck stopped moving . When I give it gas the rpm,s go up but the truck does not move . The diff gears spin freely . It is acting as if it's in neutral . Any ideas would be greatly appreciated !!

Check the set screws on the square drive for the gear on the clutch bell shaft.

I had that same problem, and it was a set screw / grub screw on the diff cups. Mine was on an XT so I'm no Mt expert, but mine had one hiding on the diff cup that the brake discs are on, if your tranny spins but no drive line it's probably this one.

I had to remove the brake post so i could slide the discs all the way to one side and get at the grub screw. Each diff cup has one, there was 5 in total if i recall correctly.

The grub screws defiently like to back out and fall off with these trucks, When you find out what one fell out, be sure to use some medium (removeable) loctite on the grub screw to help prevent it from happening again...

I'd also check your center line dogbones (driveshafts) make sure the pins haven't fallen out or are missing...

Hey guys Thanks for your help ! I just found that the small pin that holds the small diff gear in place broke into 3 pieces - I went to home depot & bought a 3 ft long piece of 1/8 inch hardened steel rod for $3.75 . I will dremel cut it to length & should be good - Thanks again for your help ! this forum makes the Hobby much more enjoyable !!
