Hi guys I’m trying to put my MtXl parts into a new rcmax chassis and I notice the new chassis doesn’t have the cut out for the spur gear. Now I looked in the past it the spur never appeared to dip below the chassis but.... after I get it installed into my new chassis the spur appears
To run ever so slightly. I look at the exploded diagrams and don’t see any shims listed but seems like I’ve heard of them in the past. I didn’t notice any come off my original setup but again just shooting in the dark. I’m afraid if I shim and I’m not suppose to the i will throw off the mesh and hence domino effect screw it all up. Thoughts. Does your have spacers or shims under the spur center section? What about the motor? Spacers or shims anywhere? Thanks for the help

Hi thanks for the video link, your right he mentions using shims on the center diff. Aside from making home made ones out of a pop can, does anyone have a link or model of shine that may work? I couldn’t find a way to message the dude on YouTube but hose should look store bought, could
I just use a 1 or 2mm washer at was here location?

Your engine mounting holes in the chassis should be slotted to account for the gear mesh, make some shims out of a soda can. You'll be right as rain in no time
