Hey guys got my mt a bit dirty the other day and took awhile to clean up. I was wondering if anyone has input on what chemicals help clean up real nice once the clumps of dirt are cleaned off? Thanks

This is a question that I have often thought myself. So far I have had good luck with a light water rinse and WD-40. I have not tried any chemicals on it yet but im sure there out there. It seems like I have been spending more time cleaning and fixing mine then driving it.

Oh cool I'll try that thanks :) ! Yeah cleaning and breaking stuff has been a issue with me but I've learned that these big heavy rc's can't take driving like my 1/8 scale stuff. Much more finess is required for me. Since I've bashed a little less rough I didn't break as much stuff. I wasn't prepared for the cost of breaking parts either(wow) its gets expensive!!

I use the mix that rampage idiot posted. Too much degreaser can be hard on the bearings.

I use a bucket of hot water with a cup of degreaser and a toothbrush.
. Sounds like a job for my son. He wants a mt like mine but he needs to learn the value of a dollar a little longer.

Foaming Tire cleaner works great. And air compressor with a long end. Use a piece of metal break line for length

Here is my Slash 4x4 which I cleaned it in the shower (took me only 10 minutes that way) and a brush (after pulling of the front and back), then dry it in sun and air blower. Touched the screws with a little wd40, also the joints, removed excess wd40. Drives like brand new...

Now that's some serious mud! I would be nervous about getting the motor and esc too wet.

The slash is supposedly water proof! I called Traxxas on how water proof it is and they said if any on the stock electronics short out they'll replace it for free! Lol I literally laughed my butt off!! Then I turned my slash in to a boat after I hung up the phone!! Till now she still runs like a champ
