i was joking with you if the epoxy doesn't hold and the pinion goes flying thats all

Makes every bit of sense now. I ran one hard tank through it so far and it's still holding up. Gonna give it 5 more tanks before I decide to say it's solid.

I used the jbweld kwikset 2part epoxy. I used it because it was what I had lying around my garage.

I basically just got paranoid with it, laid some down on the back side of the clutch bell so that the threads would take some with it.

And then once the bolt was almost through I laid some down to fuse the bolt to the clutch bell metal.

This is the epoxy I had in my garage

So three hard tanks through with this modded clutch bell and the nyloc hasn't budged. I am calling this a success!

The only thing is now that I have done all that work I will be purchasing the 2 speed transmission and by the looks of it it uses a whole different clutch bell and pinion setup.

So may have to see how that pans out.
