Well, the Baja is finished (for now :D). I sprayed it last night, and did the graphics this evening. I've torn a lot of it down, cleaned it, made some adjustments, and replaced a couple things that were scuffed up. I'm pretty happy with the results.

I'm HPIguy on pretty much all the other forums in case you're wondering, and a friend made these for me

Also picked up a couple of mods. First up, I switched the plug protector with a carry handle from the 5T.

And I picked up a Team GoNads X can for it here at LSF

looks Good! Nice job! But in case you don't know it will never "BE DONE" Lol. But anyways enjoy and have fun!

I had a disclaimer in there

Hey thanks BiB, I may just put the stocker back on for this weekend till I get those. I hate oil residue, it just attracts dirt / grit like a magnet.

Love the colour scheme.Bet it wont look that good when you start bashing..:)

Yeah, probably not, but I'll do an outdoor photo shoot in good lighting before beating the snot out of it. :D

looks awesome, nice work all round

Thanks sperera.

Well as stated above, they're never done

Well, after looking at it for a bit, I didn't like the gray beadlock rings with the black and orange theme, so I painted them.

I also went back to the stock exhaust, as you guys mentioned the X Can without stingers would spray everything with oil. No thanks, gave that up when I left nitro rigs. I did however replace the stock clamp I lost with something stronger

I also switched to the 2 degree rear toe blocks, and cleaned and lubed my bearings while I was in there

I also checked my CVD's for any twisting, checked the boots for grease, cleaned / lubed all the pivot balls and suspension hinge points, and double checked the tightness of all critical fasteners. I have to say, I'm enjoying going through all of it, I feel like I adopted an animal or something, giving it the life it should have had. :D Charge my receiver pack, and oil my filters and I'm ready for this weekend.

As it sits now. I like the black rings much better

I hope you don't drive like I do! I already had to buy some new rings for my rears when I put the Hostiles on there.

Yeah, mine are beat up too Charlie. When I go for tires, I think I'm just going to pick up a set of rims too, and keep these for some tarmac busters. I'm thinking the Silverbacks with hostiles for off road, have you ran your hostiles yet? You liking them?

fresh ss out the box! i can smell it from here!! looks sweet

Ha ha, almost, it had two tanks through it when I got it. Thanks man, that new paint smell will be replaced with Klotz R50 and 93 octane tomorrow rockwoot.gif

The Hostiles are AWESOME!!! In the desert terrain they get much better traction than the stockers. I like em a lot!!!
