Harder springs, (or rather dual rate) can help, but also harm roll effect. That is why I added, to make sure you add (if not already there) a droop setup.
Or you could use a spring preload using some copper wire.

But sway bar, still is where I would start (harder bars, if you have soft ones on)
 
I was going to say same thing, but (if I were to 3D print them) I would use TPF filament, it looks as though he used pvc/pbs, or the like.
Since it is a hard filament, it is nothing more than a stop collar (and or what I suggested, with the pre/load or rather using wire for true stop).
The TPF would act kinda like that, but with a rebound effect, which could help (assuming, you do not do a lot of jumps/bashing).
It would act like a softener affect. (is my assumption.).

But yeah, good idea (and certainly worth a try) rather than buying collars, that slip off anyways.
Granted multi size collars are only about 2 or 3 dollars, for a set (per front and or rear)
 
i used tech ABS and the purpose was to give a hard stop to the sliding ring so that the shorter spring stop working and the full weight is sitting on the longer one.
spring rate of the shorter is abt the double of the one of the longer one and their common rate is lower than either of theirs
riding height is set with the spring preload so that the lower arms are horizontal and the shock travel is on the half way. in my case there’s still abt 4mm remains above the sliding ring before it gets stopped by the sleeve.

LoL, I said pbs (yeah, I meant ABS).
But as (you & I) stated, it is used as a stop collar (your words, are "stopped by the sleeve").

That is why I may have gone with TPF, for the stop/ but with slight rebound effect.

But if it works for you (as stop & preload,) then as we (Bandit & I) stated, like the idea.

EDIT: Not that it matters, but curious as to what brand filament you use? I had a fellow in Astronomy forums, make me a specialty camera holder for my telescope mount (polar align camera) He used ABS, with 2 line up pins built in, as well rare earth magnets built in. So, he turned me onto Prusa.
It is the only filament I use (granted it cost a bit more than most), but well worth it.
As well the Ruby hot tips (since I use carbon fiber filament) Granted, I have 2 or 3 sets of all sizes standard tips.

Anyhow, was more just a curiosity question (no relation, and off tangent to thread). So, you don't have to answer.

i do not know what make it was. my neighbor printed it a year ago or so. all i remember he said it is a kind of technical ABS with minimal shrink properties after cooling.
i just made the drawing and exported into STL file
 
Sounds like Prusa filament. They seem to have the least shrinkage, as well most consistent threading.
I have a Prusa MK2+ (thinking about getting the MMUs unit for it, to print with 5 different colors with no change in heat exchanger.

Anyhoo, yeah looks like a decent idea. The clip on ones, have a tendency to come off (and since one side is open, can cause a shock shaft to bend (easier) so a positive flat, all the way around threads (is certainly a better way to go.). Just a pain, if you need to change sizes out. (granted rarely need to do that.)
