Is there a plastic film on the ball? Wonder if the plastic is rubbing off and making it sticky? May be a bad plastic arm that was never fully cured?

Interesting theory. I will give it a strip down after the next bash and check it out !

Could be why they are getting hot, binding and even bonding - talking seriously this time.
I understand that if you're running in very dusty environments you may not want them to be too oiled, greased - basically sticky.

Tried both Al ! Ive tried grease , thick oil , WD40 , and dry with no oil !

Same results each time ! I'm convinced the Aliens have something to do with it !:w00t:
