LOW-SPEED NEEDLE: 1 and 1/4 turns out from closed.
HIGH-SPEED NEEDLE: 1and 1/4 turns out from closed.
IDLE SCREW: 1 and 1/4 turns out from closed.
I used the above as a starting point, and found MY sweet point with 1/2 turn plus a 1/4 from closed on the HSN. On the LSN I ended with 1 and 1/2 turns out from closed.
On the idle screen. I turned it all the way in to closed.
Each rc driver, I know, will experiment with their own settings. I'm just offering a start point.
My engine is a ZENOAH G290RC with a 990 chokeless carburetor. It doesn't mean, however, that it may not work as a starting point for other engines.
