Hi just thought I'd show you my maverick blackout with a Dog Pile Racing "wild child" engine that I have rebuilt after it went bang (user error) I'd done the run in tanks and I was now just tuning it. This video is recorded one handed whilst operating my stick TX (the dodgy driving has a excuse..!!)


I recorded this however after I finished this video and started doing the fine tuning I noticed that my beautiful cpi.exhaust had broken (see my other YouTubevids to see the damage )


Any way hope you like it?

Yeah it was a female dog but I had it repaired at my local 1:1 garage they charged me £16:25 inc vat to repair it..

Ooh didn't think it was, it wasn't picking up well I didn't get round to the finer tuning as the exhaust was gone. I normally do the spark plug test but didn't get around to it this time. I will however take your info on board. Ta
 
Iwik76, are you from the uk? if so where abouts :)

nice truck man, how do u like that Wild child engine?

i got a big build coming in next few weeks, just waiting on postman now
 
Spitting rich is better than burning lean anyday! That motor should have a BUNCH more low-end.

I didn't watch your vid all the way through, but it is was lean starving on the low end at 20 seconds into the vid and just got worse as the vid progressed. The high rpm is also lean causing the motor to make a wa wa wa sound as upper rpm is reached.

Just some carb tuning when you get your pipe back and you'll be good to go!

Hi terrakill yeah I'm from Hertfordshire where you bouts?. The DPR engine is amazing Bob sure does know how to make a engine go.. What's your build?
 
im down in kent man, im keeping all quite on my build untill all parts are here then ill start a thread up :)

gonna be nice tho (haha i hope)

i run my car at a http://www.brooklandlargescale.co.uk/(thats the club site, as public one is down)

its a lush track if your ever down this end of the woods should come check it out
 
Got a new video up, been doing some tuning I have got the plug chocolate brown on high speed runs.

Intrested in what you think about the tune on the top end..
