I bought the ARTR one as i wanted to put my own touch on it, I used liquid mask on the shell for the first time and im dead impressed with it, i used flo pink and white for the shell, but the only thing i don't like is the rear wing, so ill be buying a different one thats a little more durable.


Anyway here it is,

oh and ive already spotted some bits i want for it :D

nice like it nice n bright ive got the same sort of wing on my beetle i only use it when its on its shelf i cannot see it lasting more than 5 mins but ive got the new Elcon Cleon one that i bash with and thats tasks tons of crap everything ive thrown at it so far the hpi baja ones a good as well:2guns:

im not sure on the holes was looking at getting one before i found the elcon one on ebay im sure it was rossmod but it wernt cheap at the time @30 plus postage but i did see them on there a while back for 20 plus postage
 
rossmod-clearance on ebay have got a couple of wing that will fit ones for hpi/fg marder got holes drilled the others for a mcd/hpi/fg aint got holes drilled so that will fit both black plastic and mega strong

i ordered some adjustable shocks and used the standard springs with them as the standard suspension was very stiff, this wasnt due to the spring it was the shock shaft inside the shock body.

i have also fitted a fastrax pipe, i like the look of this pipe better than the other pipes on the market at the moment.

thats a nice pipe. Where did you get it from? Would love to see a vid and hear it. I wanna put a new pipe on my Marder Beetle. One that doesn't require me to hack the next body.

yes pink is a bit fruity lol, but the standard colours are red, white and yellow so those colours were out, i wanted to do one that i hadn't seen before and i had 2 cans of pink in the shed already, the only trouble now is the outwears and shock covers will have to be black to match, ideally i wanted red but don't think that will go.

thanks, it appears to have quicker acceleration, ive not had much time to tune it, will be out tomorrow so ill get a vid for sound.


i was thinking of getting these but don't know on what T to get anyone know what the T is standard?

took my baja for a blast on the common today and rolled it a few times, on the last roll towards the end the exhaust bent and clamped the throttle rod down and fully open, luckily i have a kill switch,

things needed to replace

pipe manifild
straighten silencer
throttle servo
spoiler
rear roll cage support
