That is the 4wd Comp, I think the front mounts are plastic on the monsters (for some strange reason) as I recall someone else changing theirs to alloy. Very sweet beetle dude! :D

One of the more bone head ideas I think FG made was to make all the 4wd alloy models with the plastic shock support in the front. The only reason I can think they did that was to make sure the support broke before allowing the stress to go down to the mounts and diff??
One good thing is that the monsters can get an alloy upgrade. The Baja's need to redesign Elcons to make it work. Still stupid.

Nice ride you have going there. One of my favorite looking tops on a real nice model!:cool2:

fg beetle cannot be got from hobbythek as a comp model but a ht version can which means they add on some alloy upgrades for you, they just stock the fg comp monster truck, maybe other shops do though.

but this beetle could be one of the new comp models for 09,very nice..

pity just one shock instead of two on each corner though i think.

4x4 is nice,be intresting to see how it performs over the 2wd.
