Here's the thing... purchased most of the gun metal aluminum parts ( all that was in stock :D ) So now I had some left over plastic parts...

I had a problem with the rear upper links pulling off the turnbuckle during hard corners and throwing out the dog bone...

So since I had some spare front upper suspension arms (plastic parts) and I had a spare set of front lower suspension arm pins.

I used them on the back after making a pair of small angle brackets...

Now there is more than enough plastic threaded on the turnbuckle.

Also put a pair of universal cvd drive shafts in the rear as well... (Make sure to red lock tight grub screw)

Also used the "extra parts in the box" (front brace) to support the front shock tower (after bending the stock one) now that it is the upgraded aluminum.. :D

That is some nice ingenuity! Its gotta be considerably stronger than the stock rod setup. I bet Ol'Fart would like seeing this mod.

Thanks Obeast44... The stuff you do when you have too many parts lying around... lol

I has been holding up to the back lane... very dusty loose gravel (lots of bumps) I have just the width of the lane to turn.... So far no problems with the fix..

Now if I can only keep the motor from dying...

The stock motor does not like running in the grass at WOT... Two runs and it's done.

I have replace the motor once... then the stock replacement died...

I have rebuilt the stock replacement motor...

I am hoping that the super glue holds....

The magnets separated from the main shaft...

So I opened up the motor and super glued the magnets back on to the main shaft.. Didn't have much faith in the fix... but it is still working...

Have to be creative.... Canada Post is locked out / on strike so nothing gets delivered via the mail... (they were locked out the day before my new flysky transmitter was to be delivered...... :( )

Update:

Rear CVD's grub screw loosened up and lost the pin... So back to the stock dog bones on the rear...

Super glue gave up.... motor temp exceeded 240 degrees f. Therefore.... On the hunt for a new motor....

I purchased 2 sets of #4729 MOUNTED PHALTLINE TIRE 140x70mm on BLAST WHEEL CHROME (unfortunatly... I goofed and they are 17mm hex)
