Been in and out of hospital for a while but almost back to my ols self again now ;)

Made a custom rollcage and a nice shiney front bumper as well as modded and polished the radio tray. Did the polishing on the chassis and front brace in hospital lol.
 
Just fitted the sides i made, ignote the look of it all, its covered in fingermarks with messing around making stuff for it, will all be polished up once im done playing ;)

Next thing for it is going to be building 2 new custom cages as i have bought 2 hummer shells and a horman ht1 shell and as you can see from the pics i took Bigger the better's advice and got the stad wheels off a m8, going to try and get hold of some fg baja wheels/tyres now to go with the ht1. All the shells are used so again with a little time they will look right and ill keep this post updated if/when i can.

What did you make it out of?
I'm diggin the ST wheels/tires.
 
The rollcage is made from 10mm 2060 aluminium and was a paint to bend to shape, decided rather than welding it up to just bolt it up that way i can make the changes from shell to shell without changing the entire cage (just add the bits i need) the cross sections are 10mm 6000series aluminium round bar. Looks ok with the lid on just need to rework the arms that hold the shell at the sides as its a little low at the min.

Nice, thats a good idea. Plus if you ever do have a wreck you can just take out the damaged peice and put a new one in its place.

Absolutly gorgeous!!! But it was a bit like showing off your girlfriend/wife and cutting off her arms and legs ! Wheels and body shot please!

I don't own the wheels or shell yet as funds dried up. Will post pics soon as i get them though ;)
The wheels n shell that came with her are some kcr bright green 5 spokes and the new shape beetle shell, both can be seen in my first post in this thread but they don't look right for her anymore so i think ebay might be in order.
