cheers Ian

mine was made by pro boat direct drive with water pick ups in my video it was just running abit over half throttle i didn"t find out till it would only run for 3 minites we adjusted the carb 4 or 5 times but still ran for 3 min i had to send the motor back to horizon they checked it out and told me what had guessed the carb was bad and sent me a new zen 26cc motor ihave ran it maybe two times it run alot better then the JR radio went bad so havn"t found a radio that i trust yet.

Nice job! The one big drawback to this boat is the stock strut being mounted in a "fixed" position giving you no means of adjustment. I have seen guy's modify the transom and mount a Speedmaster type strut giving you full up and down depth/positive and negitive angle allowing you to adjust the boats ride attitude and also giving you a much wider range of props to try out.

Oh yeah, you should also have about a 1/4" of space between the drive dog and the strut. The reason for this is because, when the motor spools up at wot, the flex shaft needs room to shrink. Otherwise it will cause the drive dog, thrustwasher, and strut to bind together putting alot of extra strain on the motor and not allowing it to rev out to it's full potential.;)

I have a Miss Bud too...never seen fuel, I got it from a former member of the real Miss Bud fullsize pit crew...Mine is shelf queen, they are considered a collectible now. I have seen one of these on you tube that was converted over to a turbine...pretty kewl. here's one vid... :D
