This is my rampage MT project. Zenoah G290 with race ported head, stroked to 30.5, walboro 990, 8k clutch, custom header and tuned pipe. I also removed the center drive shaft, both front axels and diff gears so the fro.t tires are free spinning, it made a HUGE difference in power and truck still handles, drives,stops perfect. This truck screams and is a blast to drive and so far all the rear components are holding up fine, soon to come will be a set of gears and a dominator side pipe and possibly a nitrous express kit. (Mainly for show) ill keep yall posted!
 
Gears?

Can anyone give me some advise. I plan on keeping the stock wheels/tires (love the look) and right now with the set up I have and in 2wd with the 8k clutch this thing will literaly bawl the hell out of the rears from a dead stop on any surface, but I still want more.. lol I plan on a low end pipe (dominator/CPI) and gears, my question is what would the best gear ratio for more low/mid range torque?
 
I've heard that about the K&N but for the most part I like to keep the truck clean so i run 90% on concrete and the other is just a little ib the grass. So I think it does fine and looks cool for what I use it for, i do also have other filters if I do put it in the dirt..

I love the look, as well. It's an MT, it should look like one. The MT is pretty much geared as low as it can go. You'll get better results once you get a pipe.
