Here's my MT V2 after a rebuild. I don't think I've ever listed what I've done to it, so here it goes.

Upgraded to a 26cc engine. (Stole it from my 5T)

Upgraded to MCD dog bones.

Rebuilt the shocks with Baja lower assemblies and DarkSoul shafts.

Upgraded the diff cups. (MooCups)

HPI filter with an Outerwears pre-filter.

DDM Dominator pipe.

Single servo steering. (Using a Hitec 5805 servo)

KillerRC kill switch.

Inclined Shred Stack.

Hacked the front and rear bumper/guards.

De-anodized the aluminum.

Installed an HBZ cage hoop.

Stripped/painted the beadlock rings black.

Painted the chassis black.

Vertigo full bearing kit.

And I don't remember what else. Anyway, with this rebuild I just cleaned everything up and replaced the fuel tank.

Mean looking machine deluge! What type of paint did you use to spray the chassis? I was going to get mine anodized black but this seems like a better option. I'm assuming you have to deanodize it first before you paint?

Thanks, guys.

Jeff, I didn't remove the anodizing on the chassis. I just washed and dried it thoroughly. I was going to use some self etching primer, but decided I'd see how it did with just a few coats of paint. Anodizing leaves the surface of the aluminum somewhat porous, so there's really no need for primer. And so far, the chassis is holding up well.

Oh, and I used Rust-Oleum engine paint.

That looks great. Thats what I was thinkin of doin to mine, lose the blue and black out the rest. Was thinkin of givin this a try Gun Kote. Little pricey tho.
