Finally got my Rampage MT converted to a TT. I made a wing mount out of the front body mounts to an MT and used an HPI Baja Wing (thanks for the tip HamsterHuey).

I also deanodized all the parts except for the blue and purple shock caps and a small blue piece on the steering.

I'll be installing the 29cc from my Firehammer MT. Can't wait to get it out and run it!

What color is that. It kind of looks color changing photo to photo. I like it. It will be easier to take off and put on your body when the pipe is hot if you trim a little off the bottom of the body on the pipe side of the body. Then you can put the pipe side of the body inside the curled up chassis rail instead of outside the curved up chassis rail.

Thanks!

I was thinking about that when I was putting it around the pipe. If I don't do something with it I'm going to have one helluva pipe burn on my hand.

Very nice, Were you get those shock covers?

Sorry guys. Thanks for the compliments! Haven't been on much.

The shock covers are bike inner tube. Nice and cheap and they work well.

For the conversion, I just used the body mounts in the rear that were for the MT, the mount in the front is already part of the MT rollcage. For the rear wing, hamsterhuey has a thread here that shows how to use the body mounts to hold up the wing if you don't want to fuss with ordering body mounts.

op, that is looks great. it looks like a stealth vehicle. the black pipe gives it that finishing touch. i will have to try those bike inner tube shock covers.
