Here's the new member of the family. Our XTs' getting old and need a lot of "TLC" now. My bud and I took a our XT's apart today and will overhaul both of 'em totally this weekend except for the motor. Unless we suddenly had a brainstorm and figured out a way to install my Skopod 62cc into one of the XTs'!! hmmm... . Parts just came in with the MT and am sure, totally...we put a big smile on our hobby shop owner's face :D He's now $1,237.01 richer!!

Nice man!

I've got an XT myself and I keep thinking... I want something bigger! I'll be keeping an eye out for a used MT I think. Can't really buy it right now, but I think I'll probably have one by next summer.

size does matter!

Rob was right. XT is for racing...MT is for bashing. This beast weighs about 35lbs. almost twice the weight of of our XT. I was surprised when I pulled it out of the box after getting so used to the weight of the XT! It's heavy!! I was just wondering where that extra weights was coming from? Does anyone know? Is it the chassis? I suspect it's the chassis coz' it doesn't have that plastic guard on the side of the chassis. I don't care, this the way I want it. Just waiting for the AMS adapter to arrive then we're going to mount the FG tires!

Which one you like better? Some members gave us their votes, but still can't make up my mind. "DemonRC" made a good point that the FG wheels might place too much load on the motor and eventually break he hub too. That's not good:(

IVIayheIVI, I'll keep an eye out for ya? I'm an eBay seller, sometimes when you least expect it, you run into a good deal. This guy I got my MT from is a prime example. gave up this hobby and the business coz' of the pressure he was getting from his wife. When he gave me the total of the MT and parts and upgrades for our 2 XTs' and MT, I was so surprised. Way too cheap! He told me he just wanted out to get his old lady off his back. The "yellow/red flame" body, I got it for just $10.00, brand spanking new!! I told him, if you're making money and having fun at the same time, why would she care? Just me alone, I spent over 1K. Told him to show his wife my invoice and make her realize it would be crazy to give up something that's working out for him. He said, money wasn't the issue the main issue is, since he started the business, they pretty much had no social life coz' he got way too involve with the business and kind of neglected her, in a way. I don't know if that's good or not. My wife's cool with my hobby. For one, I don't go out with my "beer buddies" on weekends anymore. I'd rather stay home and work on my RC's and spend time with her.

Anyway, I made a short note in front of my computer desk to remind me, in case I come across a good deal on an MT and I'll letyou know. Hey, don't hurt to try, right?

That's very kind of you, thanks! I don't want to spend the money on it just yet though. I have other priorities at the moment. I really have to slap my own wrist on this one, because I "could" buy one, but I really shouldn't.
