I finally decided to go with a king motors 3.0 baja with the 2 speed tranny. I was waiting on some of ya'll to chime in with a report on the car but it apears nobody has one yet? Anyways after christmas i'm going to buy the 3.0 baja with the two speed and i'm going to buy the proline vw conversion body. I LOVE THE BEETLE LOOK!!! Almost decided on a fg monster beetle pro but decided the baja is the ticket! So after christmas i will have some pics whn i buy her and the conversion of the beetle...

nice one on your purchase matey, sure you'll have many hours of fettling and fun! and as for your body choice - i'm with ya 100%, i love the VW bug too.. doesn't that shell come with a conversion kit (mounts etc)?

No the body and conversion is sold separately. I am buying the body that's clear so i can paint it and then i have a list of part numbers to do the conversion..

ohh bummer eh, you'd think they'd do a complete kit to convert a baja buggy to take the shell, like buy the lot in the one hit.. money swindling buggers eh lol..! any clues on ya paint scheme yet or are you keeping that hush hush?

Yeah i am going either the first car in the video or the second...i cant decide...But i'm picking my own colors...This is one of my fav videos of all time on fg beetles...I like the one with the 3 stripes...That will prob be my paint..
