My old 23cc head & piston

My 2yr old 23cc tear down it don't look to bad for all of the run time on the motor it will be going back together with a 26cc head and piston. here's pics of the old 23cc head and piston

How many gallons did you put through that and what oil did you use?

I'am not for sure how many gallons of gas i would guess 4 or 5 and i have only used lucus 2 stroke oil

That's quite a bit eh! What are the scuffs/scratches on the piston from?

It got some dirt in though the carb i would say. it was'nt running as good it was slowing down and did'n have the same power that it did that is why i took it apart to see what happen

That sucks.. time to upgrade after a couple of years anyways though


Did you modify the crankcase transfer ports? From the pictures it looks like a dremel has been taken to it.
