i got this used about 5 months ago and started it at home and it idled great but the fuel tank had a leak and now that it's fixed i'm going to start it and have it ready to drive but nothing has been removed or checked so probably do just a slow drive then stop and dismantle everything then do a rebuild to drive it again.

Looks great. I still want an mcd. The full option one. But, I don't race because there is no place anywhere close. That probably won't stop me though. Lol.

In the last few years it's the only RR5 that i have seen advertised used locally and i paid under half price compared to new so it was a good deal it came with some new spares as well.
Curious what is holding that pipe? It looks like two "O" rings looped together. That could come in handy other places.
to buy the original MCD one piece o'ring is a bit pricey with shipping so i looped knotted o'rings from a kit they fit tight.
Sure looks like it. Good idea really. Most likely less prone to cracking with the soft mounting.
the pipe sits on two plastic curved mounts i placed some silicone heat tape on the mounts to protect the pipe.
